1. Deere and Company manufactures farm equipment that perform a number of manual jobs that involve heavy objects that this matter has resulted in many workers experiencing health problems. It also caused a lot of losses to the company since their employees are waited are unabled to do their work with efficiently due to their health problems.
As a solution to these problems, Deere and Company has done some ways to avoid things like this from happen again such as they redesigned the workstations so that they did not have to bend or kneel. They also change their hand tools to save the workers from work strains and installed a hoist at the assembly line for lifting of the lawn mower decks.
Benefits of these ergonomics initiatives is that it can reduced exposure of the workers to back injury risks. It also inceased their employees productivity substantially along with their effeciency.

The company has taken precautionary measures against this matter such as the company hired an ergonomics consultamt to evaluate the workstations for ergonomic conditions and provide compulsory ergonomic office equipment.
Benefits of these initiatives is their employee were less exposed to different types of CTDs. Besides. it also reduce their upper limb disorder cases.
